Bitcoin meetups for the UK and Ireland for 8th - 14th December 2025. Plus new merchants now accepting bitcoin.

It seems the rain hasn’t taken a day off lately, but neither have the meetups.
If the weather is miserable, at least the pub is warm and dry, and you can catch up with your Bitcoin brothers and sisters without getting soaked.
Alternatively, you could brave the weather and head to one of the Bitcoin Walks. The new London Walk has been flying under the radar for the last few weeks, but we now have all the details below.

What We’re Up To This Week 📆
Monday
🍻 Dundee Bitcoin: Join them from 17:30 to 20:30 at The Wine Press, 16 Shore Terrace, Dundee DD1 3DN. This month’s meetup is on the 8th.
Tuesday
🍺 Chilterns Bitcoin Hub: A brand new meetup in the Chiltern hills and looking to build a strong community in the area. Head along to the White Swan, HP22 6EA on Tuesday 9th from 19:00 - 21:00 to support them.
Wednesday
🍻 Glasgow Bitcoin: A welcoming space for anyone in and around Glasgow to connect and talk all things Bitcoin. Join from 18:00–23:00 at The Piper Bar, G1 1HL.
🍺 St Albans Bitcoin: This month the St Albans meetup is on Wednesday the 10th, from 19:00 to 22:00 at the The White Lion, AL1 1RN. Whether you’re new or experienced, there’ll be plenty of people on hand to answer questions and share insights.
🎸 Bitcoin Essex: Join them at Peggy’s Music Bar, SS9 3JP at 19:30 on Wednesday for some live music from some of your favourite V4V artists.
Thursday
🍺 Liverpool Bitcoin: A growing community, dedicated to leveraging Bitcoin’s strengths to serve the people of Liverpool and surrounding areas. Get along & help them build. This month their meetup is at the Railway Pub on Tithebarn Street, on Thursday 11th at 18:30.
Friday
☕️ Newcastle Bitcoin Coffee Morning Meetup: Every Friday morning at Pumphreys Coffee Centre and Brewing Emporium (bitcoin accepted). Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned maxi, head along to chat, share ideas, and connect with the local Bitcoin community from 10:00 to 12:00.
🍺 Folkmoot - Bury St Edmunds Bitcoin: An informal assembly for folks interested in Bitcoin and its many related subjects, at The Verve Bar & Restaurant, IP33 1LA. 12th December, 18:00–22:00. Free to attend, just head along and chat Bitcoin in good company.
Saturday
🚶♀️Bitcoin Walk - London: The London Bitcoin Walk will meet this SATurday at the Peter Pan statue in Hyde Park at 11:00. Check the Telegram group chat (available at the link) for details, as times and dates can change at the last minute.
⚽️ Real Bedford - Home Game: Peter McCormack’s boys are at home this Saturday playing Bromsgrove Sporting. Join them for the Bitcoin meetup at 12:00 and the football starting at 15:00.
🚶🏽♂️Bitcoin Walk – Edinburgh: Join fellow bitcoiners every Saturday at 12:00 for a walk around Arthur’s Seat. It’s a relaxed way to keep fit, enjoy the city, and chat about Bitcoin along the way.
🍻 Bitcoin Derby: On Saturday the 13th December Bitcoin Derby will be at Ye Olde Dolphin, DE1 3DL, from 15:00 - 18:00.
